Overview
This Family Law Center is designed
to provide you with a general introduction to all the
major legal subjects that affect families which include
adoption, marriage, and divorce. Some states have Family Courts within
their judicial system which specialize in family matters. If you
live n one of these states, you are fortunate. You will
often find that the Family Division of the court system has
resources that can be helpful, especially if you want to
represent yourself in a family matter.
To navigate through the Family Law
Center, simply view the choice of topics within
the navigation bar on the left hand side of this page. When you
find the topic you are looking for, make your selection. If you don't see what you are looking for, try our
Frequently Asked Questions data base at the bottom of the list.
The articles in this section are not specific to your state. If you need
specific
legal advice, you should consult with an attorney who is a
member of the bar in the state where you are seeking legal
advice.
